red_teleponeTelephone Appointments

You may request a telephone consultation if your problem can be dealt with without a face to face consultation.

When you request a telephone appointment the administrative assistant will ask you for the telephone number you can be reached on.  If it  is in the morning, the clinician will try to phone you between 1100 - 1230, but please be available to accept the call at any time as the clinician may phone at a different time due to workload.  For the afternoon, the clinician will generally phone after 1530, but again please make yourself available to receive the phone call at any time as the phone call may be made  at a different time depending on workload.  It is not possible to ask for a phone call after a particular time due to workoad constraints.

Please be aware that if the clinician is unable to contact you when they first call, it is unlikely that they will try again.

If the clinician feels you need to be seen you will be asked to arrange a surgery appointment.
